The 29th China Beauty Expo (CBE Shanghai), will be held on May 12-14, 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

As a must-attend show for global beauty professionals, CBE 2025 will cover an exhibition area of over 230,000 square meters, bringing together more than 3,500 cosmetic companies from around the globe, and professional visitors from more than 100 countries and regions to the site for business trade.

CBE Shanghai in May not only gathers huge global beauty resources, but also devotes itself to enhancing the value of the exhibition, creating a trade value platform for the whole global beauty industry chain, and taking “revitalizing the consumer market” and “promoting China to become a strong cosmetic industry country” as its mission. With the mission of “boosting the consumer market” and “promoting China to become a strong country in the cosmetics industry”, the show balances between scale and precise service, and helps cosmetic enterprises to do business on the platform and gain new development and growth.

The whole industry chain

CBE has been regarded as the preferred business trade platform for the whole beauty industry chain.

The three sectors of cosmetics, professional beauty and supply chain include 134 sub-categories and more than 3,500 cosmetic companies, covering skincare, color cosmetics, perfumes and fragrances, masks, personal care, men care, toiletries, household cleaning, oral care, beauty tools, professional and high-end beauty products, beauty  equipment, nail, eyelashes and embroidery, efficacy skincare, OEM/ODM, packaging, raw materials, etc.

Emerging local brands & international top brands

CBE Shanghai in May attracted more than 3000 international beauty companies led by Shiseido, L’Oreal, POLA ORBIS, KOSE COSMEPORT and others every year. Domestic beauty enterprises including PROYA, Jahwa, CHANDO, Pechoin, UNIASIA TECHNOLOGY, BLOOMAGE BIOTECH, FREDA, FOREST CABIN, brought many of their star brands, fielding more than 6,000 domestic beauty brands inshow of force. 

International and domestic brands have each accounted for half of the market, competing on the same stage and showing their uniqueness.

International resources

In advocating the international strategy of CBE – “bringing in, going out”, CBE Shanghai 2025 will not only introduce international cosmetics companies from more than 40 countries and regions, and invite more international buyer resources. On the basis of the participation of professional buyers from 102 countries in 2024, more international will be invited to Shanghai to carry out in-depth trade with domestic enterprises.

In 2025, “Supply Chain Business Meetings” will be held in the same period of CBE Shanghai in May. Supply chain enterprises will carry out 1-to-1 trade negotiations with international and domestic professional buyers.

Science and technology have influenced the beauty industry and brought more intense competition. How to create good products with core competitiveness? This is the key to the future breakout of major beauty companies and brands.

In order to promote the high-quality development of the beauty industry in the field of science and technology, CBE facilitates the exchange of cutting-edge science and technology at home and abroad, and promotes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, as well as the enhancement of the influence of scientific communication.

On May 12-14, 2025, CBE will hold more than 50 science and technology forums during the exhibition period, inviting well-known scientists at home and abroad to gather and promote science and technology exchanges.

In 2025, CBE will continue to consolidate the resources of CBE’s “2 City 2 Expo” strategy, with the global resources in Shanghai in May and the new beauty resources in Hangzhou in August, providing an ecological platform for the beauty industry to serve the beauty industry year-round.
